Remind yourself of when you wanted what you have now

This title phrase moved me. Quoted somewhere in this conversation (sorry, no timestamp, I guess you’ll have to watch it all to find it!) between James Clear and Ryan Holiday.

I spend far more time thinking and sharing about what I want — to do, to buy, to learn, to accomplish, to achieve….

I spend far more time on that than I do thinking and sharing about what I have been privileged enough to do, buy, learn, accomplish, and achieve already.

Gratitude puts things into perspective.
